The fun day with the twins Sarah and James turns out to be a dangerous competition between chief firefighter Steele and Gareth, their grandfather. The two compete to see who can provide the twins with the better leisure program. A moment’s inattention is enough for their boat to swim straight towards a waterfall. It’s also a hot day for Hannah and Joe, who are stuck at the top of the cliff at a barbecue that goes out of control, and Mandy decides to give her garden a makeover. There’s also a pet show in Pontypandy where the animals are on their best behavior and Norman is up to his old tricks as he’s determined to win this year’s cheese rolling competition.
